This only needs testing in Moodle 4.4 and 4.5. The bug is not possible in 5.0, and in main, the automated tests are enough to prove there are no regressions. Setup a user with " Question Sharer " capabilities, so they can access questions from system/category contexts Create a course Enrol that user to the course Still as admin, go to the question bank on the course Create a question within the System question category Tag it with "system" Login as them Go to the question bank Create a question within the course's default question category Tag that question with a new tag "a" Create another question in the same category Tag it with "b" Go back to the question bank and add the filter "Tag" Select from the dropdown, or start typing in the autocomplete, and verify that you can see all the tags from your course and system questions: "a", "b", "system"
