Existing site without Asynchronous backups turned on Before applying this patch: Log in as an administrator Navigate to Site administrations > Courses > Asynchronous backup/restore Confirm Asynchronous backups are disabled (if enabled, disable them). Apply this patch and upgrade the site. Log in as an administrator Navigate to Site administration > Server > Environment Confirm there is a check saying asynchronous backups are disabled Navigate to Site administrations > Courses > Asynchronous backup/restore Confirm Asynchronous backups are still disabled Enable Asynchronous backups Navigate to Site administration > Server > Environment Confirm there is no check saying asynchronous backups are disabled New site install With the patch applied install a new site, then: Log in as an administrator Navigate to Site administrations > Courses > Asynchronous backup/restore Confirm Asynchronous backups are enabled Navigate to Site administration > Server > Environment Confirm there is no check saying asynchronous backups are disabled Navigate to Site administrations > Courses > Asynchronous backup/restore Disable Asynchronous backups Navigate to Site administration > Server > Environment Confirm there is a check saying asynchronous backups are disabled
