When a new calendar entry is created, the end date is set to today's date. This should be at least the same as the start date (especially when you click on a future date in the calendar monthly view and the start date is set to that date).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go into a course
2. On the right side add the calendar block
3. Click the calendar so that it opens in the content area
4. Click on a day in the future to create a new event

In the modal dialogue the start date is set to the day that was clicked in the calendar, the end date however, uses the current date. I would expect that the end date is at least the same as the start date.
