There is the wish to easily duplicate a calendar entry. In the duplicated entry only the date would have to be adjusted. Manual copy of location and description can be omitted.

Together with MDL-81559 it would be an easy task when e.g. an event needs to be held in the future again.

We know about serial dates, the workflow for the duplication would come into use when the date is not a serial date and especially not yet known in the beginning of the course (e.g. a repeated test).
