There is an issue with the Forum plugin in which, when a forum post is rated from the forum display page, the rating is not saved. It appears saved as usual, but going to the previous or next page in the forum, then going back to the recently rated page again shows a blank 'Rate...' in the 'Average of ratings' area, and the gradebook is not updated.

Steps:

1. Create forum in earlier version (whatever was the latest version in February 2024)
2. Update Moodle to 4.3.4
3. Students submit posts
4. Instructor uses dropdown menu to rate posts

Rating posts from individual students' profile pages/forums posts does stick.
