Log in as admin

Create a new user

Navigate to Users > Privacy and policies > Privacy settings in site administration

Set Data request expiry field to "0 seconds_ and save

Navigate to Users > Privacy and policies > Data requests in site administration

Press New request

User: Test user

Type: Export all of my personal data

Back on the data requests page, approve your new request

Run cron

Reload the list of data requests

Confirm the status of your request is "Download ready" (not "Expired")

Hello,

Setting the privacyrequestexpiry option to 0 seems to immediately expire any any data download requests, even though the description suggests it should make the requests valid indefinitely.

Given that the problem is applies to data requests it is probably somewhere here https://github.com/moodle/moodle/blob/main/admin/tool/dataprivacy/classes/data_request.php

but I haven't had time to look into the code yet.
