"User was removed from the selection" message on edit

      When selecting multiple users to edit their enrolments, the message

      "User 'name' was removed from the selection"

       

      So far, this affects additional Self-enrolment methods. The default self enrolment method is not affected and behaves properly and allows users to edit selections in bulk.

       

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Have a course
      2. Disable the default self enrolment method if necessary
      3. Add a new self enrolment method
      4. login as two user accounts and have them self enrol into that course.
      5. As teacher or admin, go to the course participants list.
      6. Checkmark both recently self enrolled users and > With selected users, edit their respective enrolments.

      Expected result: Admin/Instructor can edit various enrolment details pertaining to duration, etc

      Actual result: User "____" was removed from the selection. (appears for as many users were selected).
