Manual test on deprecation messages
This test only proves the deprecation messages.
- Create a course in custom sections format
- Enable debug messages "site administration --> Development --> Debugging --> Debug messages" to DEVELOPER. And "Display debug messages" to be checked.
- Go to the course in edit mode
- Check no debug message appear.
- Replace coursae/format/topics/lib.php by the one attached in the issue (file lib.php
) - Reload the course page (still in edit mode)
- Check there are some debug messages on the page (can be partially covered by the course index and the navigation bar)

HQ 2024 Sprint I4.1 Moppies
All the pre-4.0 course editor is still present in the system and should be removed by Moodle 6.0.
This issue is about:
- Detect all pre-4.0 unsused JS libraries
- Add deprecation messages to all libraries.
- Ensure the core is not using them anymore.
- Create a final deprecation issue for 6.0.
The library we already know it could be removed are:
- ./course/yui/coursebase
- ./course/yui/dragdrop/*
- ./course/yui/util
- ./course/dndupload.js
- ./course/amd/src/actions.js
