Log in as admin

Navigate to Development > Purge caches in site administration

Select Courses under Purge selected caches

Press Purge selected caches

Confirm the courses cache was purged. You can check this by:

Create a course with an assignment.

Access your database using your favourite client (adminer, phpMyAdmin...).

Rename the assignment in the mdl_assign table.

Access the course and reload the page.

Check the assignment name hasn't been updated.

Purge courses caches.

Reload the course page.

Check the assignment name is updated and the one changed manually from your database client is displayed now.

Since ~~MDL-80985~~ we can selectively purge the courses cache using the admin/cli/purge_caches.php CLI tool, we should have the same from the same UI interface:

- - Sort By Name
  - Sort By Date
  - Ascending
  - Descending
  - Thumbnails
  - List
  - Download All
