Block "Section links": Toggle Section number

      1. As admin, in Site administration, remove "section_links" from your theme's "Unneeded blocks" setting.
      2. Create a new Course
      3. Create at least 1 section (Let the name as it is "New Section")
      4. Add the block "Section links" and select "Yes" for "Display section name" and save.
      5. Verify the link is "New Section" in the added Section links block and there are only the section titles in the Section links block.
      6. Edit the "Section links" blocks settings and select "No" for "Display section name" and save.
      7. Verify the link is "1" in the Section links block and there are only the numbers in the Section links block.

      When using the block "Section Links" it should be possible to remove the section number and display only the section title.

      Currently the title can be toggled to show only numbers or both but in most cases we don't have numbers in the section titles so they are more confusing than helping in the section links block:

       

      To reproduce this do the following:

      1. As admin, in Site administration, remove "section_links" from your theme's "Unneeded blocks" setting.
      2. Create a new Course
      3. Create at least 1 section (Let the name as it is "New Section")
      4. Add the block "Section Links" and leave settings as is or tick "Yes" on "Display section name"
      5. The section Title is "New Section" while it says "1: New Section" in the added Section Link Block

      It is not possible to select / toggle "Display section number" as this setting doesn't exist yet
