I understand that the description field for badges has to remain plain text to meet Open Badge specifications, but this does not allow a lot of freedom for being able to add complex award details onto the badge. 

It would be useful to have the option/field to add a formattable text that appears on the Badge Description page (but is left out of the metadata). 

Some of our courses that offer badges have a lot of skills or learning goals that go into building what is needed to get the badge. They want to be able to reflect that to those the badges are shared with, and with plain text, that can be hard to read or portray.
