When using messaging functionality and using alternate name or alternative  as the search keyword, nothing is returned.

1. Create a user with firstname: Logi1 lastname: Student01
2. Also set Altername name: Nikea
3. Enrol that user into a course.
4. Log in as the teacher into that course.
5. Click the "message" icon on the top right corner of your screen and use
6. "Logi" as the keyword and search
7. RESULT: The student record is returned correctly.
8. Now, do a search again and use Nikea as the keyword and search.
9. RESULT: Nothing is returned
