Category Deletion with many courses

Hi all, I'm raising this issue we've come across quite frequently.

Using the standard category deletion feature, it will crash the webpage in an attempt to delete a category containing roughly 100 courses (or more) at once.

We've had to write a small script to run on the server in the background (to avoid the crash) which deletes courses one at a time. It would be more ideal if this works in the front end without issue also.

There currently isn't an abundance of information, though I suspect it's attempting to do some heavy/long task that takes a while and the user is being timed out by the server. It would be good if the UX was similar to course backups/restores (has progress bars), where it runs in the background and there is something that polls for the status, which then will update the UI and let the user know when the task is complete.

      Thanks,
      Kevin
