When the "Recover old grades for re-enrolled users" option is disabled, grades for a previously un-enrolled user should not be restored upon re-enrollment. However, if a user who has previously completed a quiz is un-enrolled from the course and later re-enrolled, the following unexpected behavior occurs after the user views the activity:
- The activity is automatically marked as completed.
- The user’s previous grade for the quiz is restored, despite the "Recover old grades for re-enrolled users" option being disabled.
I have attached:
- A video demonstrating the behavior for clarity.
- A backup file containing two quizzes with different completion conditions:
- Quiz 1: Requires a passing grade for completion.
- Quiz 2: Requires view and any grade for completion.
In both cases, the grades and the activity completion are recovered when the user views the activity.
