      Description

In moodle_request_shutdown(), i'm getting warnings about apache_child_terminate being disabled.

I think this might be a bug in php, as I thought the function_exists call should catch this.. I'm also intruiged as to where in my php configuration that this function is disabled

Notice: Mem usage over $CFG->apachemaxmem: marking child for reaping. in /home/www/vhosts/beta.secondary.cleo.net.uk/public_html/lib/moodlelib.php on line 6502

Could you please try to add @ before apache_child_terminate(); on line 6502 in moodlelib.php
I guess the function is disabled in server configuration, though still present in PHP.

Yuck - there's no good way to check if the function is disabled. Added the @, 10 15,16,17,18 _STABLE branches. Washing my hands with bleach now.

Actually – there is. Perhaps I didn't see it before, or the php doco has been updated.

So committed a better fix to CVS.
