      Description

Once an entry has had This entry is case sensitive turned on, it CAN'T be switched off again ... I suspect because the form value doesn't exist and the script doesn't check for that.

          Hi Martin,

I can swith my entries case sensitive/insensitive back and forth.. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place.

I edited an entry, set it to CS, then I edit it again and set it to CI with no problem... Am I doing something wrong?

From Martin Dougiamas (martin at moodle.com) Tuesday, 13 January 2004, 09:21 PM:

You're right - it works fine on my home version ... and I looked at the code and it does everything right.

Yet it continues not to work on the moodle.org FAQ ... can you try adding an entry there and re-editing it a few times to see if the switches work for you?

From Williams Castillo (castillow at tutopia.com) Tuesday, 13 January 2004, 09:35 PM:

Uhmm... It does not works for me either... :/

          <a target=_blank href=http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/edit.php?id=851&e=260&mode=entry&hook=260>http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/edit.php?id=851&e=260&mode=entry&hook=260</a>

I wonder if it does change in the DB and it is just a mere make-up issue in edit.php or if it needs a little more work.

I'll do some testing on my end and I'll get back to you asap

Got it... This is a side effect of the default setting thing (Microsoft' term to names BUG... )

          I'll cvs it asap.

          Working great! Fast work! Thanks!

So it was only cosmetic anyway - cool. Probably my bug anyway.

Cheers! How's the wife? Getting round?
