This test requires completion tracking to be enabled by an administrator in Site administration > Advanced features and also enabled in the course settings.
1. Login as a teacher, access an activity and edit the settings.
2. Set the completion tracking to 'Students can manually mark the activity as completed'.
3. Login as a student, view the course page and mark the activity as complete by clicking the tick icon opposite the activity.
4. Login as the teacher again, access the course and check that the activity is marked as complete for the student in Reports > Activity completion.
5. Login as the student again, view the course page and mark the activity as not complete by clicking the tick icon.
6. Check that the icon changes from a solid tick to a dotted tick.
