Description
- Log in as admin and browse to 'Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Message outputs > Manage message outputs'.
- Disable 'Email' notification.
- In the user drop-down menu (top right) go to 'Preferences' then click 'Message preferences'.
- Check that the 'Notification preferences' section is not listed.
- Return to 'Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Message outputs > Manage message outputs' and click the settings link for 'Mobile' message.
- Complete the Mobile message fields and save changes.
- Return to 'Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Message outputs > Manage message outputs' and click the settings link for 'Jabber' message.
- Complete the Jabber message fields and save changes.
- In 'Manage message outputs' re-enable 'Email', check 'Mobile' and 'Jabber' is enabled.
- Go back to 'User menu > Preferences > Message preferences' again and check that 'Email' and 'Mobile' are listed in the 'Notification preferences' section.
- Go to 'User menu > Preferences > Notification preferences'.
- Click on settings icon for Jabber and add a Jabber ID.
- Go back to 'User menu > Preferences > Message preferences' again and check that 'Jabber' notification is also listed in the 'Notification preferences' section.
- Access to 'Site administration | Plugins | Message outputs | Default message outputs'.
- Uncheck the 'Enabled' column for 'Personal messages between users'.
- Go back to 'User menu > Preferences > Message preferences' again and check that the 'Notification preferences' section is not listed.
