CLONE - A manager can create, read, update and delete competencies

      Description

      Creating a competency
      1. Login as an manager.
      2. Go to Site administration ► Competencies ► Competency Frameworks
      3. Create a competency framework CF1 if you don't have any.
      4. On the Competencies tree, click CF1.
      5. On the Selected competency block, click Add competency.
      6. On the Add competency page, check the details:
        • Confirm that Competency framework is shown as CF1
        • Confirm that Parent is shown as No parent (Top level competency)
        • Confirm that Name, Description, Id number are all set to blank.
      7. Enter C1 for the competency name.
      8. Optionally, enter a description.
      9. Enter an appropriate ID number for the competency.
      10. Click Save changes
        • Confirm that the page navigates to the CF1's Competencies page.
      Reading a competency
      1. Check the Competencies tree.
        • Confirm that C1 is displayed right under CF1.
      2. Click C1 in the Competencies tree. Check the details on the Selected competency block.
        • Confirm that the C1's name, ID number and description are shown in the block.
      Updating a competency
      1. With C1 still selected, click on the Edit menu on the Selected competency block, then select the Edit menu item.
      2. On C1's Edit competency page, check the information.
        • Confirm that the values are the same as the ones entered earlier.
      3. Modify the values for either or all of the Name, Description and ID number fields.
      4. Click Save changes.
        • Confirm that the form saves properly.
      5. Back on CF1's Competencies page, check the Competencies tree.
        • Confirm that C1's updated name (if applicable) is displayed and is still right under CF1.
      6. Click C1 in the Competencies tree. Check the details on the Selected competency block.
        • Confirm that the updated values for C1's name, ID number and description are shown in the block.
      Deleting a competency
      1. With C1 still selected, click on the Edit menu on the Selected competency block, then select the Delete menu item.
      2. Click Delete on the confirmation dialogue.
      3. Confirm that C1 has been deleted from CF1's competencies tree.
