A teacher can add MoodleNet content via the activity chooser

      Please note: If you are using the QA site to run this test, please skip the Setup section below as these settings are enabled on the site.

      Requirements

      • MoodleNet integration enabled (enablemoodlenet) in Site administration / Advanced features.
      • Activity chooser footer set to MoodleNet in Site administration / Courses / Activity chooser settings.

      Teachers can add MoodleNet content using the activity chooser

      1. Log in to your Moodle site as a teacher and go to a course.
      2. Turn editing on and click the "Add an activity or resource" link to launch the activity chooser.
      3. At the bottom of the activity chooser click the link that says "Or, browse for content on MoodleNet".
      4. Click the button 'MoodleNet Central'.
      5. On the MoodleNet login page, log in with your MoodleNet account or create one.
      6. Browse MoodleNet, choose a resource and click "Send to Moodle" button.
      7. A dialogue "Your Moodle LMS site" will be presented showing your site url, click "Send".
      8. Back to Moodle, verify that you are presented with a confirm dialogue asking if you want to continue. Click "Confirm".
      9. Next, choose the course you want to import the MoodleNet resource.
      10. You will be greeted with a new dialogue asking for what type of format you want to import the content as. Click one of the options.
      11. Check that the content has been created in the correct course and section.

      QA-14791 - A student is not allowed to add a resource to Moodle from MoodleNet

      1. Log in as a student to your Moodle site.
      2. Go to MoodleNet, click the Browse button and find a resource.
      3. There should be a menu (three periods in a row) with the option of "Send to Moodle". Click that.
      4. Check that you are asked for the Moodle instance to send the resource to. Enter the URL of your Moodle site (must start with http:// or https://).
      5. Check you are redirected to the 'Adding content from MoodleNet' page which asks you to confirm the content you are importing.
      6. Click the confirm button and confirm that you are directed to a course selection page with no courses available to be selected.
