This is an exploratory test of a new feature or improvement, so please feel free to try anything you like and not just the test steps!

This test requires a course containing activities with different dates set, some in the past and some in the future.

1. Log in as a teacher, go to the course settings and make sure that 'Show activity dates' is set to Yes.
2. View the course page and verify that activities with dates set show the dates below the activity link.
3. Follow the links to various activities and verify that activity dates are shown on the activity page the same as on the course page.
4. Verify that activity dates are not shown twice on the activity page.
5. Go to the course settings again, set 'Show activity dates' to No and save changes.
6. View the course page and verify that activity dates are no longer shown.
