This test requires several visible system cohorts (no users needed) to have been created and course metalink enrolment method to be enabled.
This test also requires admin access. If you would like to use the QA testing site for running it, please see the QA testing guide for details of how to request admin access. Begin just after the hourly reset to give yourself plenty of time to complete the test!
- Log in as admin and go to Enrolment methods in a course. In Boost, click on Participants, then select 'Enrolment methods' in the dropdown menu. In Classic, it can be found in Course administration > Users > Enrolment methods.
- From the Add method drop down, choose Cohort sync and on the next screen select one of the available cohorts.
- Click the button Add method
- Verify you have returned to the main Enrolment methods screen.
- From the Add method drop down, choose Cohort sync and on the next screen select a second cohort and click Add method
- From the Add method drop down, choose Course metalink and on the next screen, select a course to link to.
- Click the button Add method
- From the Add method drop down, choose Course metalink and on the next screen, select a second course to link and click Add method.
- Verify that you have returned to the main Enrolment screen and your two Cohort sync and 2 Course metalink methods are visible.
