CLONE - An admin can restore an applied admin preset version

XMLWordPrintable

This test requires admin access. If you would like to use the QA testing site for running it, please see the QA testing guide for details of how to request admin access. Begin just after the hourly reset to give yourself plenty of time to complete the test!

This is an exploratory test of a new feature or improvement, so please feel free to try anything you like and not just the test steps!

      1. As admin go to Site administration > Site admin presets
      2. Open 'Actions' menu for 'Starter' preset.
      3. Click on 'Review settings and apply'
      4. Confirm there is a list of settings to be changed e.g. 'Blog menu' block, 'Enable comments' core setting, 'SCORM package' mod, and many more.
      5. Click on 'Apply'.
      6. Confirm there is a 'Review the following setting changes which have been applied.' message.
      7. Confirm in Site administration that listed settings had changed.
      8. Go back to Site administration > Site admin presets
      9. Open 'Actions' menu for 'Starter' preset.
      10. Click on 'Show version history' option (some options could be hidden and you might need to scroll to view the whole menu).

      12. Confirm there is a 'Settings successfully restored' message.
      13. Confirm in Site administration that the listed settings had their default value.
