This test requires a quiz containing several questions.

1. Login as a teacher, edit the settings for the quiz and set how questions behave to 'Adaptive mode'. Ensure that in 'Review options' the option 'Whether correct' is ticked for During the attempt.
2. Edit each question and in "Multiple tries" set the "Penalty for each incorrect try" to something greater than 0 (this may already be set to 1).
3. Login as a student1 and attempt the quiz, answering the questions wrongly.
4. Check that you are immediately allowed to try questions again and that a penalty is subtracted for each wrong attempt.
5. Login as the teacher again, edit the settings for the quiz and set how questions behave to 'Adaptive mode (no penalties)'.
6. Login as a student2 and attempt the quiz, answering the questions wrongly.
7. Check that you are immediately allowed to try questions again with no penalties for wrong attempts.
