- Log in as a teacher and go to the question bank in a course.
- Click the 'Create a new question' box and select "Drag and drop into text".
- In the Choices, type four words and add two words to Group 1 and two words to Group 2.
- Make some choices unlimited and some not.
- In the question text box, type a sentence or two including the words, replaced by [[1]], [[2]] etc, corresponding to their numbers in the Choices.
- Click the 'Save changes' button.
- Edit the question, and make sure all the boxes contain the correct text.
- Click the 'Save changes' button.
- Preview the question, checking that the 2 words from Group 1 and the 2 words from Group 2 are displayed in different colours and they drag and drop correctly, and that your responses are graded correctly with a range of behaviours. Try your best to break it: move already placed items, drag items over the top of other items, click and drag lots of times quickly etc.
- Test responding using the keyboard as well as the mouse.
- If possible, test on a touch-screen, as well as on a desktop computer. Mention in a comment the device(s) you have used in testing.
