This test requires admin access. If you would like to use the QA testing site for running it, please see the QA testing guide for details of how to request admin access. Begin just after the hourly reset to give yourself plenty of time to complete the test!
- Log in as admin
- Navigate to Reports > Report builder > Custom reports in site administration
- Press New report
- Choose a name for your report
- Select the Users report source
- Tick Include default setup
- Press Save
- Verify that you are now viewing the report editor
- Press the "Audience" tab
- Add the "Manually added users" audience and select the test user to grant access to this report and press "Save changes"
- Press the "Access" tab and verify that the user is listed
- Navigate to Users > Permissions > Define roles in site administration
- Edit the "Authenticated" user role and allow the "moodle/site:configview" capability then save changes
- Log out then log in as the test user you previously granted access to the report
- Navigate to Reports > Report builder > Custom reports in site administration
- Verify that you can see the report granted access to you
- Press on the name to view it
- Verify that the report is shown as designed
- Press "Filters", modify the report filters, and verify that they are applied
