CLONE - In Internet Explorer 8, on the index page, the correct course controls are available on section pages for topic format, in paged mode, when ajax is turned off.

      Description

      Test Pre-requisites:

      • This test must be performed using the Internet Explorer 8 web browser.
      • Disable ajax in Site administration > Appearance > Ajax and Javascript.
      • Any course in Moodle that has the course format set to Topics.
      • Course administration > Course layout is set to "Show one section per page".

      Test Steps:
      1. Navigate to the course index page.
      2. Turn editing on/off with the button in the settings menu and verify you are returned to where you were.
      3. Add a resource to a section, then verify you are returned to where you were.
      4. Move a resource between sections, then verify you are returned to where you were.
      5. Indent a resource, then you are returned to where you were.
      6. Edit a resource, then verify you are returned to where you were.
      7. Hide a resource then verify you are returned to where you were.
      8. Delete a resource, then verify you are returned to where you were.
      9. Duplicate a resource, then verify you are returned to where you were.
      10. Hide a section, then verify the section is hidden.
      11. Set a section as the current topic and verify it has been marked visually.
      12. Move a section and verify that the section CANNOT be moved.
      13. Add the section links block and verify that the section links are working correctly.

          When editing/deleting a resource in a specific section, you are returned to the course home page rather to the specific section

          Andrea, this is very similar to MDL-33619 but the other way around. Please either raise a tracker issue or comment on that one.

          Hi, Thanks for testing this issue. A fix has been integrated for it and will be available on the qa site at 1100UTC.
