This test requires a site with badges enabled and at least one student.
1.Visit Settings>Site administration>Badges>Add a new badge.
2.Complete the details, uploading an image to be used as the badge and ensuring the expiry date is at the default "never"
3.Click "Create badge".
4.From the badge criteria dropdown, select "manual issue by role" and then tick "teacher" and if wished "non editing teacher".
5.Leave the criteria completion as the default "any" and save.
6.Click the button to enable access.
7. Click the Recipients tab and click "Award badge"
8. Select "teacher" from the role dropdown
9. Choose a student to award the badge to and award it.
10.Log in as the student and verify in My Profile>My badges that the badge is visible.
