Prerequisite
- Two courses in the same category.
- A course called mycourse with activities, enrolled users, and groups.
Classic theme testing
- Login as Manager and follow Site administration ► Courses ► Manage courses and categories ► Miscellaneous
- Ensure you don't see "Recycle bin" link under "Category: Miscellaneous" navigation node
- Delete an exiting course (mycourse), which has activities, enrolled users and groups by clicking on delete icon.
- You should see "Recycle bin" link under "Category: Miscellaneous" navigation node
- Follow "Recycle bin" and you should see the deleted course
- Click on "Restore" icon and you should see "mycourse has been restored.
- Navigate to course and make sure all activities/users/groups exits.
Boost theme testing
- Login as Manager and follow Site administration ► Courses ► Manage courses and categories
- Click on a course in the miscellaneous category.
- The details of the course should be shown on the right. Click on the "View" link above the course details.
- Click "Miscellaneous" in the navigation bar.
- Click the cog icon. Ensure you don't see "Recycle bin" in the menu.
- Return back to the Manage courses and categories page (mentioned in step 1).
- Delete an exiting course (mycourse), which has activities, enrolled users and groups by clicking on delete icon.
- Navigate back to the course categories page (steps 2 - 4).
- You should see "Recycle bin" link in the settings menu.
- Follow "Recycle bin" and you should see the deleted course.
- Click on "Restore" icon and you should see "mycourse has been restored.
- Navigate to course and make sure all activities/users/groups exits.
