Description
Sometimes plugin developers say that they do not have the time / money to implement new features, but users want the new features but do not have the sufficient funds to support the development. Having come across www.kickstarter.com where projects are funded though multiple backers committing funding. When the desired amount is raised, the project can go ahead. If it is not wanted, then it will not be funded.
Could this be a new funding model to support plugin developers? Or even new elements of Moodle core?
If so, could Moodle run it's own like site?
