Automatic add-on parsing not working for 'other' category

XMLWordPrintable

At some point, my plugin https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=block_navbuttons was moved from the 'blocks' category, to the 'other' category, due, I assume, to the small core modification needed to get it working.

This means that whenever I upload a new version the following problems occur:

      • Adding the plugin directly from github does not rename the base folder to the correct name
      • The README.txt file is not added to the release notes
      • The version.php information is not parsed (version, requires, etc.)
      • The lang files are not added to AMOS

Is there some way I can indicate that this plugin should still be treated as a block, even though it has been moved into the 'other' category?
