PATH attribute does not match file directory for Moodle 3.8 plugin upload

When uploading a plugin with an db/install.xml file for Moodle 3.8, I'm getting the 'Code validation error' -> 'Errors parsing db/install.xml: PATH attribute does not match file directory: /var/www/temp/local_plugins/version_upload/571777436/grid/db'.  This is strange as the file is identical to the Moodle 3.7 version, which moments before I updated: https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversion.php?id=20599 without issue.  Therefore unable to add a version for Moodle 3.8!

This is the file in question: https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-format_grid/blob/V3.8.0.1/db/install.xml - clearly I can't change the value of the 'PATH' attribute to match that of a generated temporary path.
