Registration regularly fails with invalid token not found on a 3.9 site

      An admin has reported that
      " Every time the cron task core\task\registration_cron_task runs
      my site is unregistered with this error
      Scheduled task failed: Enregistrement du site (core\task\registration_cron_task),Invalid token - token not found"
