The email firstname.lastname@example.org is used in various locations on our community sites. It is also unfortunately used by non-HQ sites who believe it is the general Moodle support email.
To minimise unwanted emails arising from misunderstandings, there is now an area on Moodle.com/contact for site registration and account queries.
This issue is to:
- Identify where the email email@example.com can be replaced by a link to the contact page.
- Decide what to do with our community sites support email which is currently firstname.lastname@example.org. How about we leave it blank?
- Decide which email to use for badges. How about email@example.com which is what the MEC site uses?
- Decide what to use for QA tests where firstname.lastname@example.org is referenced.
