Hi Jess
Just a request for the Moodle Community team to sweep the Moodle community sites to ensure we are using the correct terminology for our Moodle Certified Partners and Service Providers.
To provide some context, when Moodle US was launched the leadership team agreed that we would call our partner network and our own services "Moodle Service Providers". This was because we believed that name could accomodate both our partners and our own service businesses. However, after much feedback from the partner network (they were very disgruntled about this), this has recently changed.
The correct terminology to represent both our partner network and our own service businesses is:
"Moodle Certified Partners and Service Providers"
Please see this page for further context:
https://moodle.com/solutions/certified-service-providers/
As an example, the block on the home page of moodle.org needs to align to this.
e.g.
Headline: Need help with your Moodle site?
Text: Tap into our network of Moodle Certified Partners and Service Providers to ensure the success of your Moodle site.
Button: Find your partner (we agreed to use the line "find your partner" because it is implying you can find someone to partner you....whether it is a Moodle Certified Partner or one of our own Service Providers.
Could you please action reviewing the community sites. Is it possible to get this actioned by April 14?
Thanks
Abby
