In both the current moodle.org and even more so in the redesigned theme.moodle.org there are two search icons close to each other.
The one top right is for a general Google search while the one to the left of notifications is a global site search.
However although they serve different purposes, it is not clear which does what.

Something to consider for the future: assuming we need both of them, is there a way to differentiate or make it clearer which does what?
