As admin, configure Moodle to show sections enabling "Include a topic section" on "Site Home>Front page settings>Edit settings".

Add some contents to the Site Home.

Add a Main Menu block to the Site Home and add an activity to the block

Check contents are shown in the app.

Disable "Include a topic section" setting from the first step and wait 5 minutes to discard the app cache.

Reenter the app and check that Site Home contents are not shown anymore. The only contents displayed is the activity in the Main Menu block ones added in step 3
