Double check that the Message output "Web" is enabled in /admin/message.php Create 2 users (senders) and one more (receiver). Using the senders, send messages to the receiver (you can use website or app). Enter the app as the receiver and check on side menus if you have new messages (a badge should be shown there with the number of discussions to be read). Go to messages and check the discussions are there and marked as unread (a blue dot will be shown). Enter a discussion. Check you can see where the unread messages starts. (New message text will be shown on top of the unread messages). Go back to the discussions list and check the discussion you opened is not marked as unread anymore. Check the side menu Messages badge number is updated with the new number of unread discussions. Send more messages from the user you read (use website or another phone). Back to the original user. Wait 10 minutes and check the side menu Messages badge number is updated with the new number of unread discussions.
