In a Moodle site, add a link to a course to be opened in the Moodle Mobile app. E.g. moodlemobile://link=https://qa.moodle.net/course/view.php?id=7

Install the app in a device and login in the site where the link is pointing (not the site that contains the link). With the example above, you should login in qa.moodle.net.

Now kill the app and open the device's browser.

In the device's browser, click the link of step 1. Check that the Moodle Mobile app is launched and, after it is initialised, you're redirected to the course.

Observed on iOS:

Upon clicking a URL like moodlemobile://link=https://qa.moodle.net/course/view.php?id=7 e.g. sent by E-Mail, the Moodle Mobile app doesn't launch on the course main page.
Linking directly into activities like with the link like moodlemobile://link=https://qa.moodle.net/mod/forum/view.php?id=255 don't seem to be the problem.

A second click onto a course link like moodlemobile://link=https://qa.moodle.net/course/view.php?id=7, when you've been in the activity, works, though.
