To test this issue, you should configure Google Drive and One Drive repositories in your site. This is already configured in prototype 3.3, course External repositories. This course has all the activities needed to test this issue.

      1. Create the following resources: Google Drive doc, Google Drive sheet, Google Drive slides, One Drive doc, One Drive sheet, One Drive slides, One Drive txt. The display mode doesn't matters.
      2. In the app, go offline and try to open one of this resources without having downloaded it. Check that an error is shown.
      3. Go online and click "Open file". Check that the file is opened in browser. Go back to the app and check that the file is now downloaded (outdated) or downloading.
      4. Repeat the previous test with all the files from the step 1.
      5. Now go offline and check that you can open the files.

Once the testing is finished, we should check if the files are launched or not by the drive/microsoft native app if is installed in both Android and iOs.

    Description

When a Google doc or OneDrive file is "controlled linked" from a resource, we should always launch in the browser (if we are online) the original file (without the offline parameter) and, at the same time, download the offline version.

If we are offline, we should open the offline version always.

This is only for documents created using the Google and OneDrive Document/Spreadsheet tools, not for files uploaded to them.
