SQLite plugin returns invalid strings and crashes the app in Android

      Database migration (Android, iOS)

      • Install version 3.5.2 of the app and login to some sites.
      • Update the app.
      • Check that you can navigate to all the sites.

      Broken unicode text (Android 4.4, possibly other versions)

      • Create a page with the name "मैं काँच खा सकता हूँ और मुझे उससे कोई चोट नहीं पहुंचती"
      • Access the page and pull to refresh.
      • Check that the name is displayed correctly in the header bar.

      Android crash

      • Create a page with the contents of http://kermitproject.org/utf8.html
      • Access the page.
      • Check that the page is displayed (not all alphabets are supported) and the app does not crash.

      Description

      The cordova-sqlite-evcore-extbuild-free plugin returns invalid strings or crashes the app when fetching text with some multi-byte UTF-8 characters.

      This bug was reported previously in MOBILE-2471, but it was only partially fixed.
