This issue only needs to be tested in Android. In web, add a new calendar event that should happen soon (e.g. 1 hour and 5 minutes). Install the app in an Android device. Login in that site, open the calendar events and set the notification reminder so a notification will trigger in the next minutes. Wait for the notification to trigger. Check that you see an "M" icon in the Android action bar. Open the notification drawer and check that you see the "M" in the notification too. To test that this issue also solves MOBILE-1516 (Android only too): In the app, login in a site with push notifications enabled (I think mobile34 has them). Minimize the app so it's in background. In web, login with another user and send a message to the user you have in the app. Wait for the push notification to arrive. Check that you see an "M" icon in the Android action bar. Open the notification drawer and check that you see the "M" in the notification too.
