      1. In web as teacher, create a new quiz.
      2. In the quiz, add 2 new short answer questions. The text of these short answers should contain the input box (this is done with underscores). E.g.: "The black ________________ sat on the mat".
      3. In the app as student, open the quiz. Check that the input boxes are displayed in the right place and there is no other input box below the question text.
      4. Add some text in the inputs, leave the quiz and open it again. Check that each answer has the answer you put before.
      5. Answer one of the questions correctly and one incorrectly, and send the quiz.
      6. In the review page, check that you can easily identify which one was correct and which one isn't.

    • Moodle Mobile 3.6.1

When creating a short-answer question, in Moodle desktop app it is possible to include a series of underscore to create an input box within the question text.

In the mobile app, the input box does get displayed, and it is possible to type text inside it (1), but when checking the answer, your input text is removed and you are invited to enter an answer. The answer should be typed on the "Answer" line (2). This is quite misleading.
