This issue only needs to be tested in Android. Install the app in an Android 5.0+ device and login in a site with push notifications configured. Minimize the app and send a message to that user. Check that you receive a push notification and the icon in the top bar is grey. Expand the notification area to see the list of notifications. Check that the small "m" at the left of the notification is orange. Clear the notification and open the app again. With the app in foreground, send a new message to that user. Check that you receive a push notification and the icon in the top bar is grey. Expand the notification area to see the list of notifications. Check that the small "m" at the left of the notification is orange. In web as admin, create a Site calendar event to trigger in a few hours. In the app, open that event and set a reminder to trigger in the next minute. Wait for the notification to trigger. Check that the icon in the top bar is grey. Expand the notification area to see the list of notifications. Check that the small "m" at the left of the notification is orange.
