This issue only needs to be tested in 1 device. In the app, login in a site with push notifications configured. Open the notifications tab. With that tab still open, send a push notification to the user (not a message or contact request). E.g. you can award a badge to the user. In the app, check that you receive a push notification and the list of notifications is automatically refreshed to display the last notification. Now change the tab. Send a new push notification to the user.  In the app, check that you receive a push notification and you see a "1" in the notifications tab. Now select the notifications tab again. Check that the list of notifications is automatically refreshed to display the last notification.
