Clicking on a forum notification can take too long

      On any device of your choice.

      Test on site 3.7 onwards and 3.6 downwards.

      1. On any discussion, as user1, post onto the forum.
      2. Lock it as teacher.
      3. Wait to receive the notification as user2.
      4. As user2 Navigate to the notifications page and click on the view button.
      5. Check the discussion locked warning is shown on 3.7 version (3.6 is not shown). However you cannot reply.

      Note: previously the warning was not shown because the discussion was not found.

    Description

      When the forum is big clicking on a forum notification it will load all conversations until the one you "selected". On learn moodle mooc site it take more than 5 minutes (probably 10).
