This issue must be tested in all platforms: Android, iOS, Mac, Windows and Linux. Go to a place that displays the Rich Text Editor (e.g. create a new forum discussion). Start typing whatever you want. Without anything selected (the cursor should be at the end of your text), click any of bold/italic/underline/strike button in the RTE toolbar. Check that the button is selected in the toolbar. Continue typing. Check that the right styles are applied. Now select a whole word and click any of the buttons mentioned above. Check that the right styles are applied to the word. Now select a whole paragraph (you will have to write at least two) and click any of the buttons mentioned above (or also the header ones). Check that the right styles are applied to the paragraph. Now select a whole text and click any of the buttons mentioned above . Check that the right styles are applied to the whole text.
