cannot login with SSO on moodleapp web

SSO from moodleapp web for example https://mobileapp.moodledemo.net/ does not work.

After successful login in a new opened tab, chrome browser tries to open "moodlemobile://token=..."

After successful login the tab should close and initial tab should continue to start the app in browser.

Is there a way to translate "moodlemobile://token=..." to URL chrome browser can use to go back to initial tab instead of trying to launch the app?

Login is fine using the Desktop app as well as web app using normal login, the issue is with the web version of the app and SSO.
