After using a bit more the app on iOS with the childbrowser, I changed my mind.

On iOS when we click on the world icon it opens a childbrowser. I think it makes sens to open the Moodle site into the childbrowser when clicking on the non-downloadable content rows too. It provides a very quick access to any file content and it can not break the app (because the childbrowser is a different browser).

On Android, when we click on the world icon it opens an external browser. It can be pretty slow to open an external browser. It's specially annoying because the site is opened in a new tab all the time. As we didn't support custom plugin previously, I suggested to not encourage the access to the external browser, so we removed the direct row click.

I suggest both system behave this way now:

      • each non-downloadable content row opens the childbrowser => no grey row + no need world icon anymore.
      • display a bottom bar that let you quickly go back to the app without breaking anything. I saw they patched the childbrowser on android to support it.

      What do you think?
