Test on one device of your choice.

You'll have to compare settings from website and app. In all of the following cases:

Load the preferences page on the website.

Load the preferences page on the app and compare.

Change preferences on the app.

Reload web and check changes have been saved.

In some cases there will be one online and one offline setting. In others Only one setting per "notification type".

Using Moodle 3.5

App User menu > Preferences > Messages. vs Website User menu > Preferences > Message preferences. (online and offline settings)

Using any Moodle from 3.6 to 3.11.

App User menu > Preferences > Messages. vs Website User menu > Preferences > Message preferences. (Single setting)

App User menu > Preferences > Notifications. vs Website User menu > Preferences > Notification preferences. (online and offline settings)

Using Moodle 4.0 (master).
